Our Team:

Our Targets for 2022-23:

What we do:

• We help to make decisions for the school, by working closely with Mr Evans.
• We listen to the pupils ideas and try to put them into place.
• We organise our own fundraising events e.g. Children in Need, Wear Read for Velindre, Wear Red for Wales.   
• We are have been working hard to raise awareness of children's rights and in February 2022 we became a Unicef Rights Committed School.
• We are currently working close with The Wellbeing Team to promote Children's Rights across the School.

Fundraising

Children in Need 2022 

To celebrate Children in Need we dressed up in our pyjamas and completed a range of competitions and quizzes that were designed and written by themselves. 

We raised: £471.47  

Christmas Jumper Day 2022

To raise money for 'Save the Children' we wore our christmas jumpers to school.

We raised: £267.80

Wear Red for Wales, Wear Red for Velindre

To raise money the children wore red to school to raise awarenss.

Red Nose Day

To raise money for Red Nose Day the children wore red to school or dresses as a superhero. The School Council organised their own obstacle course for the children to take part in.
